What This Course is Not
Cricut Quilting 101 will not completely eliminate the use of scissors or a rotary cutter. It is very normal and expected, to trim finished quilt block sections and entire blocks to the desired size. The accuracy gained by using the Cricut for cutting can eliminate some trimming, but not all. However, you can use scissors if you are not comfortable with a rotary cutter.
This course is not an in-depth class on every quilting technique. This class covers just the beginning of appliqué and traditional pieced quilt blocks. Quilting has such a long and full history, with new techniques popping up each day, and new antique quilts being discovered around the world. I will be covering enough of the topic to get you started and prime your interest in learning more.
